Responsibilities, Required Qualifications in Order to Apply for the Opening
Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. They must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitoring patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and documenting all aspects of care accurately and timely.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educating patients and their families on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
- Adhering to all professional and ethical standards of physical therapy practice.
- Supervising physical therapist assistants and physical therapy aides as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology.
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
