COVID-19 and Your Safety

Our office is open and accepting appointments to provide essential care to patients. Our clinic is in complete compliance with current CDC protocols.

We are screening all patients for possible exposure to COVID-19.

Special attention and precautions are given to those over age 65 and those with other conditions that may put them at higher risk.

Our staff and patients are wearing masks, gloves when appropriate and washing hands frequently.

Commonly accessed areas are cleaned and sanitized frequently.

Free phone consultations are available to all patients and those individuals who may call in with questions.

Responsibilities, Required Qualifications in Order to Apply for the Opening

Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. They must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
  • Monitoring patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and documenting all aspects of care accurately and timely.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educating patients and their families on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
  • Adhering to all professional and ethical standards of physical therapy practice.
  • Supervising physical therapist assistants and physical therapy aides as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship available.
