Aarti Batra, DPT
Aarti earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge in 2007. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mount St. Mary’s College in 2010. Her postgraduate studies have included a year long manual therapy course as well as a movement science series of courses. Additionally she has been trained in osteopathic techniques such as Strain-Counterstrain, Primal Reflex Relaxation Technique (PRRT) and Visceral Mobilization courses.
Aarti has been previously been part-time faculty at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles where she has taught Anatomy and Physiology labs for the undergraduate biology department. Aarti is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) and enjoys advocating for the profession as part of APTA’s Vision 2020.
Aarti was born and raised in Bradford, England and moved over to the United States in 2001. To maintain her work-life balance, she enjoys, spending time with her husband, family and friends, reading, cooking, and playing board games.
